In line with the theme of this July's 'International Plastic Bag-Free Day', we at Green in Tuen Mun have prepared a plastic-free, eco-friendly carnival for everyone. We hope to raise awareness about plastic pollution and encourage everyone to make changes in their daily lives, such as bringing their own eco-friendly trio of a shopping bag, water bottle, and cutlery when going out, to practice a green lifestyle that values objects and reduces waste.
The event will include booth games that test your knowledge of environmental protection and 'walking away from plastic', a free second-hand market, a game of 'Finding the Cow' that challenges your observation skills, and the ever-popular eco-workshops. We also specially recommend checking out the exhibition of eco-furniture made from upcycled eco-bricks, where exhibits are pieced together from recycled plastic materials. Through this exhibition, we hope to inspire reflection on the issue of plastic overuse and convey the importance of waste reduction at the source.
Exhibition of Upcycled Eco-Furniture made from Eco-Bricks, Eco-Workshops, Free Second-Hand Market, Booth Games, and the Special 'Finding the Cow' Activity
